FILM: Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Liked Pulp Fiction, loved Kill Bill. If you're of the same ilk, you don't need me to tell you to go see Tarantino's latest. The revenge-on-Nazis fantasy Inglourious Basterds delivers on entertainment, albeit with fewer opportunities for cathartic laughter than I'm accustomed to from QT. We are treated to the usual rewarding dose of fun cinematography, soaring music, and beautiful women with marksmanship skills. Brad Pitt steals his scenes with his character's backwoods-accented straight talk.
